I am working to develop a list of various different places, seminars, expos, training, classes, certifications, licenses…and some pretty cool encounters with some of the best groomers and trainers in the world.
I have pretty much met them all π
I am going to have to dig up about 15 years of pics for this page so as I find them it will be added.
** I strive to participate in anything that will help me become a better breeder, trainer, and groomer **
My goal is to learn everything I can to be better.
I believe I’m pretty darn good but…there is always something new to learn.
Each puppy and experience is different (just as every pet parent is π
I am working to become the best me for you and our puppies, they are all our family and I know every little detail.

(Savannah, 9 yr old daughter participated in the training event with me to learn as a future veterinary…at least I hope she continues her passion). Her 4H leader was present with a few of the other members to learn about agriculture. Yes, girls can learn about livestock (haha) we fit right in, although we were in pink π π

March 11, 2018 – 4H Talk and Demonstration “Love Your Dog” speech prepared and presented by daughter, Savannah Fuehne (9 years old) in front of the entire Aviston Aces 4H, Aviston, Illinois with Pappi, a 3 month old T-cup Toy Poodle puppy we are keeping as a future male as her demonstration on quality of puppies and championship requirements. We brought 6 puppies of various breeds (2 Morkies, 1 Shichon, 2 Shichon-Poos, and 1 Toy Poodle) for the large group to play with and interact with. The turnout was amazing!!!
January 21, 2018 – Participated at the Aviston Nursing Home, Aviston, Illinois to listen to Dr. Heather Johnson (Johnson Veterinary Clinic in New Baden, Illinois) in her talk on the importance of therapy dogs. Dr. Johnson brought her very-very large St. Bernard. Savannah (my daughter, yet again) participated as part of 4H. Some of the elderly were watching and listening. The younger kids walked around with Dr. Johnson and the service dog to the various rooms of the elderly who could not come to the conference room at the nursing home.

Product Tester
I have been given products over the years that I have been asked to provide an honest feedback on their products. It’s been about 15 years of itemsΒ that I don’t remember everyone but here are ones from 2018 and 2019 that I have given company feedback to. These are some of the good ones I have liked so I will share. No, I am not paid for this but have received some of the below in free products from attending shows and also from companies reaching out to me to try out their products.
Note: just because something is not on this list doesn’t mean I don’t like them…I may have just not tried. I will work on more items as I try products. I love seeing new products and testing them
(or should I say, my pups love testing them π
Pets+ Magazine Product Squad Tester – yes, I get the latest and greatest products to test!!!
Davis Manufacturing – Studio Color – very cool but very messy, I wish I had steady hands so I can put some cute semi-permanent dye on the bichons and lighter colored poodles.
Alpha Tech Pet – LaundraPet and PetSuds – good for washing pet bedding but make sure to have a full load otherwise it will be wasted.
Alpha Tech Pet – KennelSol – works great on germicidal cleaner, deodorizer and disinfectant but more for kennels, veterinarian and daycares. I have never had any diseases, such as parvo, so I can’t say this has killed parvo and properly disinfectant but it does clean well.
Alpha Tech Pet – OdorPet – pet stain and odor remover, seems to do as it says.
Max & Molly Wear – grooming shirt, definitely keeps the hair off of me while I am grooming. I like the ones with pockets on the sides and zip straight all the way up (helps keep hair off my chest).
Max & Molly Wear – klogs, love these for being on my feet for so long plus they slide right on and off (my mom stole my pink breast cancer awareness pair, she likes them for her planters feet issues)
MyDoggieWater – tried several flavors, momma’s really like the flavors but hard to get them to drink regular non-flavored water after this so great for a treat or for dehydration.Β
Glo-Marr – Kenic shampoo and conditioners, I definitely like these, lots of different medicated products for various skin issues, from hot spots to irritation to really good smelling puppy shampoo.
Glo-Marr – Balance natural ear cleaner – like that it is natural and gentle on the ears, doesn’t smell like chemicals (I am very anti-chemicals and try to be more on the natural side).
Glo-Marr – Balance cologne – got to love dogs that smell good, especially like some of the designer sprays.
Sovereign Silver – bioactive silver hydrosol for pets, provides immune support, unsure how to test this since all of my dogs are healthy and I do not have any problems but seems like a good health supplement.
Plaque Off – powder, it is really hard to disperse for me the powder since everyone hovers around the doggy bowl for feeding, would be good if I just had a few dogs so for me the dental chews work so much better, chews that help and also act as a treat.
Susan Lanci – designer pet blanket, omg super soft and luxurious but pricey.
Lillian Ruff – shampoo, love the smell of all of these shampoos plus some of them are concentrated so a bottle lasts a long time.
Lilian Ruff – breath spray, good idea but my dogs know exactly what is coming when I try to open their mouth to spray anything in their mouth. If I had a pup and did this from the very beginning as a routine, I would have better luck.
Clot It – love the good ol’ fashion powder for when a nail is injured due to cutting nail too close. I am not a huge fan of the liquid kind, works good but I like the yellow powder stuff that sticks. I like to be messy π
Lenny Pads – great idea to reuse potty pad 100’s of times but lots of laundry for me. I like to just throw away potty pads in my kennel area but can use these pads in my office just fine.
Vet Aid – holistic wound care, I don’t think any animal likes getting anything sprayed on any injury or scrap so I am not sure if they like it or not, definitely does clean wounds and helps prevent infections.
Jax n Daisy – shampoo and lotion, this company sent lots of samples, love that they smell so nice and last a really long time also helps with cleaning/soothing any wounds or skin irritations. I really like this product for someone who might have a problem skin dog with allergies or skin dermatitis.
Sparkle Dog – premium dog food, my adults like a few nibbles of this for treats. I feed Royal Canine food so just gave the samples as treats. I met Kameron Allen Westcott (The Real Housewives of Dallas) and she was super nice…and pink, hence sparkle dog.
Curicyn – wound care, I don’t get too many injuries so don’t get big chances to try this out. I used on a hot spot for a momma, who did not like but who likes anything sprayed on them. I do think this helped clean the area and promoted healing.
Nature’s Specialities – shampoo and conditioner, natural products I must say I always like.
OdorMed – all purpose deodorizer good for cleaning and eliminates odors (not just covers up)
