The Bichon Frise is a non-shedding, hypo-allergenic dog.
We have specifically chosen the Bichon Frise because of their personalities, temperaments, and size. The non-shedding and hypo-allergenic hair is definitely a plus if you have horrible allergies.
Bichons are a good breed for allergy sufferers!
Bichon Frise are known to be great with children.
Pictured here is our daughter on the couch, she loves to sleep with them and snuggle up with them. They are not “barky” and love to cuddle.
This is important to me that they have good temperaments, as our children are constantly around the adults and puppies.
We use “all natural” products on our dogs eyes…water!
When Bichons are puppies, they are small and their tear ducts are not fully developed (this is common of any small breed). When they get old, and if they have good genetics with parents with good eyes, I believe this is the contributor to whether or not your Bichon will have tear staining as an adults.
Our puppies eyes are beautiful…no maintenance necessary!
Our family pets are healthy and happy.
They are spoiled and get lots of attention!
This is a picture of an adult I was grooming (she is still a bit wet).
In 2010 my lovely husband built me my own grooming shop. Before I was giving everyone a bath in our bathtub and I had such bad back aches. Now I have a complete area to myself, have everything right where it needs to be and absolutely love it!
I groom and maintain all of our dogs myself. I keep very busy!!!
Note: I try to keep my husband away from the clippers…he likes to give short haircuts, I like the fluffy and poofy look 🙂
Another picture of super eyes!

Previous litters have ranged in size for adults being 7-12 pounds, depending on which AKC dam (mom) and AKC sire (dad) is bred together.
According to AKC, the Bichon Frise is a cheerful, happy dog small in size. The breed is often compared to a cotton ball due to its curled double coat. This coat consists of a textured outer coat and a silky undercoat….
The Bichon Frise is a naturally gentle, playful dog who loves activity. The breed standard is a non-sporting group who is gentle mannered, sensitive, playful, and affectionate.
This is Candy.
She is now retired but is the absolute best dog I could have ever had!
She is absolutely beautiful.
We have Rose and Pearl (who are her daughters) that are our moms.
AKC states
“A cheerful attititude is the hallmark of the breed and one should settle for nothing less.”
